Assessment of school district available on-line

A comprehensive assessment of the West Contra Costa Unified School District is now available on-line.

The assessment was completed by the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team and was a condition of AB 2265. AB 2265 was signed into law in September 2000 and provides some relief for the school district from a long-term debt to the state.

The law requires the team to file status reports on its study every six months. This is the first report. The process will continue for two years.
