I am committed to a strong, safe and dynamic El Cerrito. My priorities include revitalizing our commercial district, promoting neighborhoods, supporting local merchants, conserving open spaces, improving transportation and parking, and increasing public safety. I will work to bring our City the resources needed to support projects that will enhance our quality of life.
During my 5 years as a Planning Commissioner, I voted for quality commercial development at the Plaza and along Fairmount Avenue. I supported commercial and residential development, including affordable housing, at the Mill and Lumber site. I worked to update the General Plan and supported more and better public transit.
I care deeply about services for seniors. I was raised by my grandmother, who now lives with me. Our community will be stronger if we create positive activities for our youth and opportunities for seniors to get involved and contribute to the community.
My experience qualifies me to serve on the City Council. As an environmental attorney for 12 years, I have solved complex problems and worked cooperatively with others for the public good. I understand making and implementing policy, and managing limited resources. I am decisive and accountable. I will continue to give respect and consideration to all members of our community.
VOTE MOORE FOR EL CERRITO
