LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Unaware of Potter service on redevelopment committee
I have made a mistake that I'm very sorry for regarding Sandi Potter's
service on the Redevelopment Advisory Committee. I had either forgotten
or was unaware that a new RAC was formed after the 1994 approval to
extend the Redevelopment Agency for another 20 years.
I hereby offer my apology.
Interestingly, the RAC she served on did not discover the $1.38 million
the RDA owed the City for past services. It took the Committee of the Whole to find that and to call for placing the RDA in hiatus until the debt was repaid. It has been.
