Archaeological investigations planned for May at Canyon Trail
A special invitation to the supporters of conservation at the Canyon Trail petroglyph boulder site:
Archaeological investigations are scheduled to take place at the rock art site Saturday afternoons in May. Interested members of the public are invited to stop by to witness the activities of CSU professor and senior archaeologist, Roger Kelly, and his students. Dates and times are: May 10, 17, 24, and 31. Student interpreters will be on hand to chat with the public between 1-4pm. During these sessions, the features of the rock will be professionally recorded, and several test excavations will be conducted.
