Author Richard Dry speaks June 24 at library
The El Cerrito Library will present local author Richard Dry on Tuesday,
June 24 at 7 p.m. Dry, an El Cerrito resident, will read from and discuss
his novel, Leaving. The novel follows three generations of an African
American family starting in 1959, when a pregnant Ruby Washington and her
half-brother travel from a small town in North Carolina to Oakland, where
her estranged father takes them in. The Library is located at 6510
