Art on display at library
Two members of the El Cerrito Art Association are displaying their work in
the Library throughout September. Robert Zentner is showing mixed media
paintings and drawings on the walls of the library. Zentner began drawing
on a trip to Mexico three years ago and hasn't stopped since. His art has
also been displayed at the Emeryville Art Show, and won an award for mixed
media painting. Chikako Beloof is originally from Japan, and has studied
portraiture and watercolor. Her style comprises a blend of Eastern and
Western art traditions, and examples of her work can be seen in the
library's exhibit case. The library is at 6510 Stockton Ave. 526-7512.
