City doesn't have funds to meet request for Moeser sidewalk
A resident has asked the city to consider installing a sidewalk
on Moeser Lane, between Shevlin and upper Terrace Drive. The city had
a contactor to provide an estimate on the project .The estimate was $48,825,
according to a Oct. 28 city staff report, and the city has only $60,000
budgeted for sidwalk repair and replacement citywide. Unless the City
Council indicates differently, the city staff intends to notify the resident
that there aren't funds for the project.
