Author Wyman to read from her memoirs April 13 at library
Hear author, Nona Mock Wyman read from her memoirs, Chopstick Childhood in a Town of Silver Spoons. Abandoned by her mother in 1935 at the age of two, Ms. Wyman chronicles her life at the Ming Quong Home Orphanage for Chinese girls in Los Gatos. At a time of great political and social tension, the home provided her and hundreds of other girls a stable and safe environment.
