Council agrees to hold off on enforcement of restrictions
on temporary signs in commercial areas
The City Council agreed at its Nov. 15 meeting that the
city should not enforce restrictions on temporary signs in commercial
areas until the council has a chance to review that portion of the sign
ordinance and possibly come up with more flexible guidelines. City staff
have found many violations of the restriction, which says temporary signs
are allowed for only 60 days, with the approval of the zoning administrator.
At that point, they must be removed for at least 120 days. Run dates: 1999-11-17 - 1999-11-30 |
