Author Tobia to speak at library March 1
El Cerrito author, Ross Tobia, M.A. warmly invites you to attend a local book reading of his recently published book, “Grand Unified Theory, Physics for a New Age,” Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at the Friends of the El Cerrito Library, 6510 Stockton Avenue in El Cerrito at 7:00 P.M. The author will have copies of his book available for signing after the readings.
Ross Tobia is a true renaissance man and has pondered many of life’s essential questions. Before he earned his Masters Degree in Psychology Research, he had independently studied chemistry, physics, astronomy, astrology, meditation and yoga. His book is the culmination of his experience and explores fundamental questions like: what is the place of life in the Universe? Is this universe all there is? What is its shape and geometry? What is the nature of the electromagnetic spectrum? What is the scientific definition of life? Can anything resist gravity? Does astrology have a physical explanation? The answers lie in his book’s explanation of the mysteries surrounding space, the elements, energy, and finally the life of the cosmos.
Mr. Tobia says of his book, “I was interested in examining the potential for a correlation between physical and spiritual connectedness. Grand Unified Theory, Physics for a New Age, is my theory presented as an open door.” Evidently, his theory has rung true with many professionals and celebrities - just one of the many quotes on his website wwwRossTobia.com is from local celebrity Jeffrey Mislove, PhD of Wisdom Television who writes, “Ross Tobia writes coherently, in the spirit of Pythagoras (and my own mentor Arthur M. Young) to integrate the mysteries of the soul with the fundamental principles of science and philosophy. This book cannot help but to stimulate deeper inquiry into the most essential questions.” Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, President, Intuition Network & Author, The PK Man
