Board April 19 to consider supporting two Sacramento rallies
The school board will consider supporting two Sacramento
rallies when it meets April 19.
The school board meets at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria of Kennedy
High, 4300 Cutting Blvd., Richmond. Meetings are broadcast on KECG 88.1
FM and 97.7 FM.
One resolution calls for support of California raising the
amount of money spend on education to the national average, and of a May
8 Action Day for Schools Rally. The second calls for support of a"Community
Mobilization" to Sacramento May 11 to ask the state to reinvest the
loan payments the district has been paying the state back into the district.
