Seniors Compete for Prizes in Local Dance Contest
HERCULES – Area seniors will display their fancy footwork as they waltz, cha-cha, and tango their way to local stardom in “Dancing with the Seniors.”

“Contestants have been given professional dance instructions over the past several weeks and this is an opportunity for them to show off what they learned and compete for prizes,” said Vicki Viduya, co-owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Hercules.
“Studies show that regular activity like dancing has great health benefits especially for seniors,” she said. “This event keeps seniors active while having lots of fun.”
Dancers will be judged and awarded prizes in the areas of the waltz, cha-cha and tango. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
