Festival for young children June 2
A Different Way to Play presents "Fun in the Sun," a free festival for children 0 to 5 years old and their families that celebrates the environment with renewable energy and recycled materials activities, games and demonstrations, to be held June 2 at Fairmont Clubhouse and Park from 10am to 3pm.
This event is funded by a grant from First 5 Contra Costa Children and Families Commission. Activities include recycled art projects, solar cooking for kids and adults, a wind symphony, community mural project and more. A free barbeque lunch is provided and there will be take-home projects for children.
