School board votes to relocate middle school to Castro site
The school board voted 3-2 Nov. 7 to build a new middle school at the Castro Elementary School and Castro Park site. The district has been told by the state that it cannot rebuild on the current Portola Middle School property.
The vote follows the recommendation of a district committee.
Board members voting in favor were Karen Pfeifer, Charles T. Ramsey, and Madeline Kronenberg.
