Biddy Mason subject of Oct. 26 historical presentation at CCCT
The El Cerrito Library and Contra Costa Civic Theatre will present a program on Biddy Mason 7:30 pm Oct. 26 at the theatre, 951 Pomona Ave.
Susan and Harvey Wittenberg are also co-sponsoring the program.
Sandra Kamusikiri will portray Mason, who arrived in San Bernardino in 1851 as a slave and went on to become a midwife, nurse and philanthropist.
Admission is free.
