DESCRIPTION: Come enjoy puppets, stories, bagels and bubbles! Did you know there's a birthday for trees? Join other families to learn and celebrate! We'll sing about trees, try being a tree, and explore who lives in trees and why. It's a gathering for Tu B'Shevat, Jewish tradition's yearly celebration of trees and the environment. Open to all children age 0-5 years and those who love them . . . whether you're Jewish or just curious. The gathering will be led by early childhood specialist Mimi Greisman and Rabbi Bridget Wynne. About Jewish Gateways: Are you seeking connections to Jewish life and community? Do you want to explore Jewish identity in an open environment? Jewish Gateways is here to help. We welcome wandering or wondering Jews & non-Jews, singles, couples, & families, those in interfaith & multiracial relationships, Jews-by-Choice, adult children of interfaith families, members of the LGBT community, & people of color. Run dates: 2009-01-30 - 2009-02-07 |
