Sherlock Holmes event, early discount March 7, 8 at Playland
Visit Playland This Weekend before 11:00 am and Save Money!
Saturday and Sunday mornings are a great time to visit Playland-Not-at-the-Beach. It is not usually busy and you don’t have competition on the carnival games or pinball machines. We are trying an experiment this weekend. Everyone who comes to Playland by 11:00 am gets in for the price of a child! That’s right -- $10 gets in any age Saturday and Sunday mornings between 10:00 am and 11:00 am. At 11:00 the price for General Admission goes back to $15.00 – still a bargain for unlimited free pinball, carnival games, live magic shows, and surprises galore. To take advantage of this offer, just print out this page and bring it with you to the box office on either Saturday or Sunday, March 7-8.
Celebrate Sherlock Holmes' Birthday
Rain-or-Shine Playland-Not-at-the-Beach will be celebrating a special Sherlock Holmes Weekend on Saturday and Sunday, March 7-8. There will be a special Sherlock Holmes Hunt for Clues both days with prizes awarded for the best answers. Sherlock Holmes movies will be shown as well. These events are free with admission to the museum and are designed for all ages.
Playland-Not-at-the-Beach is at 10979 San Pablo Avenue, El Cerrito. It is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Museum of Fun featuring 25+ pinball machines set on FREE Play, historical exhibits, arti murals depicting the history of San Francisco's bygone amusements, live magic shows and surprises around every corner.
