Financial crisis subject of April 28 Democratic Club meeting
Eileen Raphael from Just Economics will lead a workshop on the current financial crisis at the April meeting of the El Cerrito Democratic Club. It is designed to give participants a common-sense understanding of what has happened in the financial world and how it happened. This is not a lecture or a slideshow, but a true workshop in which attendees will have the chance to match their own strategies and solutions with those being used by the Obama administration.
Tthe meeting will be convened at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, in Fellowship Hall, El Cerrito United Methodist Church, 6830 Stockton Avenue (at Richmond Avenue), El Cerrito, CA 94530. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and light refreshments will be available, as well as pizza for $4 per person.
