Manzanita School "Day of the Dead Festival" Oct. 31
Manzanita Charter Middle School is having its First Annual "Day of the Dead Festival & Holiday Bazaar" on Saturday October 31 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Join us for craft-making, sugar skull decorating, face painting, food (tamales, horchata, cookies), crafts, jewelry, artwork, Day of the Dead Altars, a special raffle, and live music! Carnival Games & a Haunted House coordinated by students in Manzanita’s Ghost Academy.
Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a celebration to remember and honor those that have passed before us, focusing on the artistic expression of the living through the creation of skeleton folk art, cooking, etc. Manzanita is a free public school located in Richmond Annex.
