Measure M forum Sept. 25
The Alliance for Public Education will sponsor a forum on Measure M from 7 to 9 pm Sept. 25 in the Richmond City Council Chambers, Third Floor, City Hall, 2600 Barrett Ave., Richmond.
Measure M was placed on the ballot by the West Contra Costa school board. If approved by two-thirds of voters, it would raise $150 million to repair local schools.
The measure would cost property owners approximately $28.96 annually per $100,000 of assessed value, over a period of about 30 years.
