DESCRIPTION: San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra will perform a unique concert of light-hearted music around the theme of children, including R. Schumann's Scenes of Childhood and the Toy Symphony (composed by L. Mozart, or J. Haydn). We will serve refreshments, and after the performance we will give you an opportunity to see and play a mandolin yourself. St. Albans is located on Washington Ave. in Albany, one block north of Solano, at Curtis Street. About San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra:
The San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra is a plucked string orchestra with 20-25 members, playing instruments of the mandolin family (mandolin, mandola and mandocello), as well as guitar, double bass, and harp. Our conductor is Achille Bocus.
