Summer Reading 2010:
Make a Splash @ your library
June 5 – August 16

The beach isn’t the only place you can make a splash this summer; stay cool at your local library with fun prizes, tremendous books, and many special events! Join the Contra Costa County Library’s Summer Reading program June 5 – August 16. Kids ages 2 through 5th grade are invited to “Make a Splash” and soak themselves in plenty of great stories for fun treats during Kids’ Summer Reading.

Catch exciting reads this summer and “Make Waves” at your library to reel in special prizes for Teen Reading for students in 6th – 12th grade. Parents and caregivers of babies from birth to 2 years are encouraged to earn prizes by participating in our early literacy-building Baby Reading.

Come on, adults, show the kids how it’s done! Readers ages 18 and up can also take the plunge by submitting a book review online at ccclib.org or at your local library for a chance to win a Booklover’s Bag full of goodies!

Don’t just wade into Summer Reading, get drenched in Summer Reading fun with entertainment for all ages rippling through numerous locations countywide.
For more information, please contact your community library or visit us online at ccclib.org.
